The AtkinsRéalis UK Infrastructure Project Delivery Practice is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Birmingham or Derby. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering major multi-disciplinary projects from concept to construction, working on our expanding portfolio of large and complex projects across various market sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver projects to agreed targets, including programme, budget, and quality.
  • Develop project objectives and strategies for achieving them.
  • Identify and manage potential contractual and commercial risks.
  • Lead project teams, building and motivating team members.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination with clients and project teams.
  • Agree commercial trading arrangements and communication plans with other teams.
  • Assemble and own project delivery programmes and plans.
  • Protect AtkinsRéalis' commercial interests, including timely invoicing and effective credit control.
  • Closing out projects, archiving documentation, and capturing lessons learned.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer or Architect with experience managing design, build, and operate commissions on large infrastructure projects.
  • Market sector experience across Water Infrastructure, Rail, Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Urban Development projects.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with NEC3 or 4 construction contracts.
  • Familiarity with BIM and 3D modelling tools.
  • Excellent client relationship management skills.
