Reader Companion

We are seeking a compassionate and engaging individual to join our team as a Reader Volunteer. As a Reader Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to form meaningful connections with our service users, providing companionship and support through reading and conversation.

This is a flexible volunteer opportunity, allowing you to choose a time commitment that suits you. You will be visiting one of our homes in Aldershot (Hampshire) to read the newspaper aloud to a service user, spending time and providing companionship.

As a Reader Volunteer with SeeAbility, you will have the opportunity to develop new skills, meet new people, and make a positive impact on the lives of our service users. We provide training and support to ensure you feel confident and equipped in your role.
