About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Workman LLP. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of financial reports, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and compliance with company procedures.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and colleagues to ensure a best-in-class service.
  • Lead the Assistant Client Accountant and Accounts Administrator team, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to internal and client KPIs.
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly client reports, including VAT and IPD reporting.
  • Ensure all client KPIs are met and company procedures are followed.
  • Review and provide feedback on the work of Assistant Client Accountants and Accounts Administrators.
  • Train and develop the skills of Assistant Client Accountants and Accounts Administrators.
  • Cash management of client funds, ensuring timely transfers in line with client requirements.
  • Manage lease information and resolve client and tenant queries.
Requirements
  • ACCA or AAT qualification preferred.
  • Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • IT and software skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel.
