Special Educational Needs Coordinator

The school seeks a dedicated individual with a proven track record of improving attendance and attainment for students with special educational needs (SEN).
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a salary in the range of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a SEN Allowance. The school offers excellent professional development opportunities, including Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and leadership training.
Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the identification and support of students with additional needs, collaborating with staff, parents, and external agencies, and leading initiatives to improve attendance, achievement, and well-being for all students, particularly those with SEN.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), National SENCo Award (or in the process of obtaining), experience in supporting students with SEN conditions such as ASD, ADHD, ODD, and knowledge of child development, enhanced DBS certificate, and experience in leading and managing staff, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments are essential requirements for this role.
