Job SummaryThis role provides exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
About the RoleThe Lead Veterinary Surgeon will be responsible for performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals. Conducting surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries. Collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Providing guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness. Maintaining accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Key Responsibilities:- Performing routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals.
- Conducting surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
- Collaborating with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

- Maintaining accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
To be considered for this role, you must have a veterinary degree from a recognized institution. A valid veterinary license to practice in the UK is also essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team and independently. A compassionate and caring approach to animals is necessary for success in this role.
What We OfferThis role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £75,000 per year. Annual leave plus Bank Holidays, CPD Allowance, VDS, RCVS, and BVA fees paid. Plus, many more benefits
