Salary: £65,000 per annum
About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated veterinary surgeon who shares our commitment to providing exceptional care and treatment to animals. As a Senior Veterinary Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- To provide top-quality veterinary care and treatment to a variety of animals, ensuring that every patient receives the best possible outcome.
- To perform routine check-ups, surgeries, and emergency care as required, always maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and expertise.
- To maintain detailed and accurate medical records for each patient, utilizing your excellent communication skills to ensure seamless collaboration with colleagues and other stakeholders.
- To collaborate with a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and support staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- To ensure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently during your shifts, optimizing workflows and resources to achieve optimal results.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent), with a strong track record of professional development and ongoing education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, clients, and patients.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team, with a flexible approach to adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Experience in both routine and emergency veterinary care, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and techniques in the field.
