Lead Chassis Engineer

Contechs is seeking a highly skilled Lead Chassis Engineer to join our client's expanding team on a Contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and reviewing concept and production-level design, both internally and externally.
Main Responsibilities:- Leading the design and development of quality components and systems for new class-leading motorcycles.
- Successfully communicating and working with key internal departments and external service providers and suppliers to ensure quality design and feasibility.
- Ensuring application of relevant industry standards and benchmark learning.
- Developing commodity delivery plans, and driving delivery to plan.
- Approving concept and detail CAD designs and drawings.
- Attending and inputting into engineering reviews and discussions.
- Understand engineering fundamentals in the design and development of components and assemblies.
- Risk identification and mitigation.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree with a grade of 2:1 or above.
- Practical hands-on engineering and mechanical experience.
- CREO experience is a plus.
- An understanding of motorcycle chassis design and its interaction with powertrain and electronics is essential for this role.
- A minimum of 6 years within a motorcycle engineering background.
