Colour, Material and Finish Designer

The Recruitment Bunker is seeking a skilled Colour, Material and Finish Designer to join a leading automotive group in Coventry.

About the Role

  • Develop and present innovative colour, material and finish designs for luxury automotive products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design programs and presentations
  • Create high-quality visualisations and physical assets to support design reviews
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends and translate them into design insights to drive innovation
  • Deliver high-quality work on time and take ownership of design quality

Requirements

Proven experience in automotive design with a focus on colour, material and finish

Proficiency in digital tools and ability to work in a dynamic environment

Strong understanding of materials, finishes and their applications in an automotive context

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge of design principles and ability to solve problems

Preferred Qualifications

Degree or diploma in digital modelling, product design or transportation design

Experience with VRED or UE5 and other visualisation tools
