Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as an Operational Resilience Director. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuity of our business operations while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Third Party Risk Management:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive third-party risk management framework that aligns with our organizational objectives.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments on all third-party vendors and partners.
  • Maintain ongoing monitoring and reporting on third-party risk exposure and performance.
  • E nsure adherence to relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, compliance, legal, and other relevant departments to manage third-party contracts and relationships.
  • Operational Resilience:
  • Establish and maintain an operational resilience strategy and framework that ensures business continuity.
  • Identify and assess potential operational risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and test business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure seamless operation during disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to operational resilience.
  • L ead incident response and crisis management activities in a timely and effective manner.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Stay up-to-date with current and emerging regulations affecting third-party risk management and operational resilience.
  • Ensure the team remains compliant with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • P rovide regular updates and reports to senior management and the board on compliance status and risk exposure.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors as required.
  • Governance Programme:
  • Develop and implement a robust governance programme to ensure compliance with expanding regulatory requirements across all business units.
  • E stablish and maintain governance policies, procedures, and controls that are well-documented and easily evidenced.
  • C onduct regular reviews and audits of governance practices to ensure ongoing compliance and effectiveness.
  • P repare and present governance reports to senior management, the board, and regulatory bodies.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of risk management and operational resilience professionals.
  • F oster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.
  • S et clear objectives and performance expectations for team members.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • B uild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • C ommunicate effectively with senior management, the board, and other key stakeholders on risk management, operational resilience, and governance matters.
  • R epresent the company in industry forums and working groups related to third-party risk management, operational resilience, and governance.
  • P erform other duties as assigned.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
