Principal MicroArchitect/Concept Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Translate customer application requirements into microcontroller system architectures, working closely with experts from various Infineon teams and key customers.
  • Own the specification of cross-functional building blocks, acting as a technical expert and developing concepts for both hardware and software aspects.
  • Interface between customers, application engineering, and development teams, building cross-functional networks and ensuring effective communication.
  • Be the specification owner, aiming for the best possible compromise between customer and Infineon needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, functional safety analysis, and user manuals, to ensure ISO26262 compliance.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience in concept/architecture, IC design/verification, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art high-scale integrated SoCs based on latest technologies, high-performance, and low-power microcontroller product infrastructure.
  • Experience in defining hardware specifications and user manuals.
  • Microcontroller and automotive application knowledge are a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of safety standards and applications (ISO26262, ISO21434, and/or FMEDA) is a plus.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory).
