About the Role

The Nelson Trust is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Out of Hours Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will provide holistic support to women in a residential safe space accommodation unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of women and the building, responding to any phone calls or in-person requests.
  • Liaise with other Nelson Trust and Cheltenham YMCA staff to provide support and advice to women.
  • Undertake a maximum of 6 Out of Hours shifts each month, including bank holidays and weekends.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate good engagement skills working with women.
  • Commit to making a difference in women's lives and supporting them in a holistic, gender-responsive, trauma-informed way.
