Job Title: Premises Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Premises Manager to join our team at Islington Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our school facilities, ensuring they are safe, secure, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate maintenance and repairs to school buildings and equipment
  • Oversee the management of contractors and suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and reduce waste
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to identify and address facilities-related issues
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
