As the lead member of our premises team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, health and safety, and security of our nursery in Brixton.

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual who can manage a diverse workload with a cheerful disposition and an eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain the nursery premises, including buildings, grounds, and equipment
* Ensure the health and safety of staff, children, and visitors
* Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
* Manage site security and access control
* Coordinate maintenance and repairs with external contractors
* Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

* Experience in building management, maintenance, and site security
* Handyman skills and basic training or practical experience in carpentry, plumbing, general and ground maintenance, electrical/building maintenance, and heating systems
* Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
