SEN Teaching Assistant Role Overview

Supporting a Child in a Primary School Setting

This role involves working one-to-one with a child in a primary school (Year reception) to provide support and assistance throughout their lessons and daily activities.

You will be working within a warm and welcoming school community in Westminster (W1H postcode), easily commutable from Marble Arch station.

Key Responsibilities

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing individualised support to the child in a one-to-one setting
  2. Assisting with lessons and activities to help the child access the curriculum
  3. Working with the school's SEN team to develop and implement strategies to support the child's needs
