Site Manager Job Description

Sphere Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Manager to work with an award-winning housebuilder in the North Devon area.

This is a great opportunity to join a long-standing operational team, where you can make a significant impact and strive for excellence.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the construction site, including all associated subcontract packages, ensuring that targets are met regarding health and safety, delivery to build programme quality, customer care, and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring HSE compliance on site at all times, including NHBC standards, building regulations, and overall quality standards.
  • Coordinating labour and sub-contractor resources.
  • Initiating and attending plot inspections.
  • Working with the Contracts Manager to ensure that the on-site Construction team is fully resourced and well-directed.

Requirements:

  • Extensive house building experience, with at least 5 years' experience as a Site Manager.
  • Good leadership skills, ensuring delivery to the highest quality.
  • In-depth knowledge of both traditional and modern construction methods.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work qualifications.
