Work Placement Coordinator

We are working with a further education college based in Birmingham, the organisation is home to thousands of bright and enthusiastic students and many talented and experienced staff. They are passionate about providing the qualifications and training that local employers and communities need. Their goal is to prepare all their students for the world of work, both now and in years to come.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilise and engage with local employer networks to secure placement opportunities.
  • Work with students from across the college to support their placement journey.
  • Coordinate and place students in their work experience and industry placements throughout the academic year.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs.
  • Work with students to identify their career aspirations.
Requirements
  • Experience in a sales or business development role.
  • Good understanding of sales techniques likely to be successful with employers.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
