Job Overview:
As a Welding Expert, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and expertise in the field of welding and fabrication, ensuring that all products meet international standards and customer specifications. You will work closely with internal departments to design and write welding procedures, analyse high rates of weld repairs, and manage audit systems related to weld quality and internal auditing.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and write welding procedures and maintain records
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to internal departments on weld procedures
• Analyse high rate of weld repairs and give guidance for improvement to reduce wastage
• Responsible for total weld quality throughout the company for manufactured products
• Identify process changes/improvements
• Train/coach employees in accordance with welding procedures and assess/appraise welders' performance
• Manage audit system related to weld quality & internal auditing

Requirements:
• CSWIP certified
• Strong background in welding procedures
• Experience in designing and writing procedures
• Ability to provide technical guidance and expertise to internal departments
• Strong analytical skills with ability to identify areas for improvement

Salary Range: £38,000 - £45,000 DOE
