We are seeking a highly skilled Draughtsman/Detailer with expertise in using Tekla to join our successful steelwork fabrication business based near East Edinburgh. The role offers a very good starting salary, a rewarding career, and a friendly & supportive working environment.

The successful candidate will work on a variety of steelwork projects using Tekla Structures, working from engineering/GA drawings to create 3D CAD models, and creating detailed assembly/fabrication drawings, bills of material, erection drawings from the 3D model.

Duties:
  1. Create 3D CAD models from engineering/GA drawings.
  2. Develop detailed assembly/fabrication drawings, bills of material, erection drawings from the 3D model.
Requirements:
  1. Experience as a Draughtsman on steelwork projects (structural and/or secondary steelwork).
  2. Essential experience using Tekla software.
  3. Must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.
  4. Be able to commute to the office in East Edinburgh.
On Offer:
  1. This is a full-time, permanent PAYE position.
  2. An excellent salary is offered, negotiable dependent upon experience.
  3. A modern and friendly working environment.
  4. Somewhat flexible working arrangements may be available (1 day per week). On average, the yearly salary for this position is approximately £35,000 - £50,000, depending on your experience.
