Tekla Draughtsman

We are delighted to be recruiting a Draughtsman/Detailer with experience using Tekla to join a successful and growing steelwork fabrication business based nr East Edinburgh. The successful Steelwork Draughtsman will join the existing technical team to work on a variety of steelwork projects using Tekla Structures.

Tekla Draughtsman Duties:

- Working from engineering/GA drawings to create 3D CAD Tekla models.
- Create detailed assembly/fabrication drawings, bills of material, erection drawings from the 3D model.
- Raise RFIs/TQs as required where more information is required.

Tekla Draughtsman requirements:

- Experience working as a Draughtsman on steelwork projects (structural and/or secondary steelwork)
- Experience using Tekla software is essential.
- Have a good eye for detail and take pride in your work.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis.
- Be based in/within a commutable distance of the office based in east Edinburgh.
