We are seeking an experienced Planner and Scheduler to join our team at Howells Recruitment. As a Repairs Planner and Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing calls on system, managing operatives' diaries, and general administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage calls on system to ensure efficient allocation of resources
  • Manage operatives' diaries to optimize scheduling and minimize delays
  • Perform general administration tasks to support the team
  • Plan and schedule repairs and maintenance requests to the relevant operative
  • Ensure trade skill sets and location parameters are working effectively
  • Liaise with operatives, tenants, and clients to ensure smooth communication and resolution of issues
  • Document control: ensure worksheets are received and checked
  • Work towards individual and client KPIs to ensure high performance and efficiency
  • Deal with council and private housing contracts, planning and scheduling routine, essential, and emergency property maintenance works
  • Track and monitor progress to completion
  • Liaise with in-house and 3rd party engineers and tradesmen and council operatives to plan appointments, materials, and logistics and reorganize schedules
  • Organize external supply companies to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Ensure all trades are ready and present on-site and works are completed in-line with committed client completion dates
  • Work in a fast-paced demanding role with constant collaboration with key stakeholders, clients, councils, housing agents, suppliers, and trades

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Planner and Scheduler working on a Social Housing contract
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Experience of using a repairs and maintenance software
