About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer/Setter to join our production team in Margate. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing tool set-ups, validating CNC processes, and training operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement tool set-ups and validate CNC processes to ensure efficient production.
- Identify and select suitable tooling and fixturing, maintaining accurate documentation.
- Validate and edit CNC programs based on engineering drawings, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Measure and validate components using first-principle measuring equipment.
- Deliver training to production staff on tool setting and CNC operation.
- Identify potential non-conformances and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with supporting departments to resolve faults and improve processes.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in CNC turning and milling operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 5+ years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
