About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer/Setter to join our production team in Margate. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing tool set-ups, validating CNC processes, and training operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement tool set-ups and validate CNC processes to ensure efficient production.
  • Identify and select suitable tooling and fixturing, maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Validate and edit CNC programs based on engineering drawings, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Measure and validate components using first-principle measuring equipment.
  • Deliver training to production staff on tool setting and CNC operation.
  • Identify potential non-conformances and implement preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with supporting departments to resolve faults and improve processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in CNC turning and milling operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
