Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of capital works projects across the housing and commercial portfolio.
  • Report to the Head of Asset Management & Development.
  • Manage a team of Building Surveyors and Capital Works Team.
  • Oversee the strategic plan for external contractors delivering works.
  • Ensure high-quality homes for customers.
  • Retrofit decarbonisation projects.
  • Financial management.

Requirements:

  • Relevant construction qualifications.
  • Proven track record operating in the social housing sector.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, property management, and planned works programme strategies.
  • Excellent strategic planning and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders.
