Job Overview
The Royal London Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Health Play Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering therapeutic play programs to children and young people, promoting their emotional well-being and supporting their recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic play programs within the ward/departments
- Promote an awareness of the emotional needs of children in hospital and the importance of play within the multi-disciplinary team
- Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to children

Person Specification
- FdE in Healthcare Play Specialism or equivalent qualification
- Awareness of children's safeguarding issues
- Experience working with children in a hospital setting or child care settings
- Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team and knowledge of consent, confidentiality, and child protection
