Job Summary

MW Appointments is seeking a skilled Claims Technician to join their team. As a Claims Technician, you will be responsible for the effective recording and progression of international non-marine claims through the entire lifecycle from notification to closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor claims, dealing with accounting issues and client inquiries.
  • Broker claims files into the market via Electronic Claims File (ECF).
  • Reconcile paid claims to bordereaux.
  • Deal with issues relating to claims or accounts.
  • Update paper files and electronic data.
  • Deal with Bureau/Xchanging inquiries.

Requirements

  • A working knowledge of ECF is required.
  • Experience with Brokasure Desktop is ideal, but not essential.
  • Good communication and organizational skills are essential.
  • Adaptability and flexibility are required.
  • Team-oriented individuals are preferred.

What We Offer

  • Location: Southend, Essex (with a hybrid option of home working).
  • Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum, including benefits.
  • Job Type: Permanent.
