Job Description

At Bruin, we are seeking a skilled Credit Analyst (VP) to join our team in London, focusing on Project and Acquisition Finance.

  • Assess proposals submitted to the Credit Management department from front office departments of the Bank, and create comprehensive credit reports evaluating counterparty management, industry and transaction risk, financial accounts, cash flows, and forecasts.
  • Develop and update credit applications, including waiver requests, limit renewals, and proposals for new transactions.
  • Attend Credit Committee meetings to present summaries of credit reports and address questions from committee members.
  • Support 1LoD coverage in business strategy definition and onboard new Financial Institutions (FI) and Corporate clients.
  • Maintain oversight of allocated portfolios and industry risks, developing and maintaining financial models to automate tasks such as collecting historic financials and monitoring credit signals.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental procedures manuals.
  • Manage the CCMS approval process from start to completion and collaborate with front office teams to manage timeframes and expectations.
  • Provide expert advice to internal stakeholders on business strategy, product launches, portfolio management, and monitoring.
  • Promote engagement with Head Office and overseas branches on corporate portfolio coverage across the Bank of China Group.
