HR Advisor Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Hays Human Resources. As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on HR-related matters, maintaining HR systems and processes, and acting as a liaison between management and employees.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Provide HR advice and support on employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
  2. Maintain recruitment, employment contracts, leavers, and appraisals systems.
  3. Arrange and attend meetings and hearings, ensuring accurate paperwork and taking notes as required.
  4. Offer guidance on absence issues and return-to-work cases to managers.
  5. Support investigations into conduct, capability, and grievance matters.
  6. Act as a liaison with management on job design, recruitment, induction, best practices, and company procedures.
  7. Collaborate with the UK and US HR teams on HRIS systems updates and implementation.
  8. Serve as a point of contact with benefit providers and administrators.
  9. Participate in recruitment efforts and respond to employee inquiries on benefits and payroll matters.
  10. Draft offer letters and employment contracts.
  11. Maintain performance management systems and processes.
  12. Act as a Mental Health First Aider.

Requirements:

  1. Experience as an established HR Advisor.
  2. Full or part CIPD qualification.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills.
