Advanced Resource Managers are currently seeking a highly skilled Air Traffic Management Technical Specialist to join their team based in Bordon. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to work on various projects across the globe, providing technical solutions and owning the overall design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The selected individual will be responsible for developing technical designs, including Navaids, Control Tower, and Meteorological equipment specifications, as well as civil works requirements and plans.
  • This role involves analysing, evaluating, and documenting customer needs and requirements, including all civil works required, and gaining final customer sign-off.
  • The specialist will be responsible for internal technical coordination of the design through to the offer phase and handing over to the Installation team for the delivery phase.
  • They will provide technical engineering support to Sales/Bid teams, assessing customer technical requirements, reviewing equipment specifications, and liaising with manufacturers and relevant subcontractors.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for technical and budgetary feasibility of technical solutions, acting as the first point of contact for customer and internal stakeholders for all technical issues and inputs.
  • Additionally, they will provide technical engineering support to project teams around equipment and subcontractors to ensure all technical details and requirements are covered.
  • The specialist will produce engineering site drawings, schematics, and cable and wiring schedules for projects and sales teams.

Requirements:

  • A good understanding of the Airfield/Airport Ground Electronics and Aviation industry is essential, with an electrical engineering background being advantageous.
  • Solid CAD skills or specifically Visio skills are necessary for this role.
  • Experience in successfully designing and delivering complex technical solutions in safety-critical domains is required.
  • The successful candidate will have proven customer and stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience of site management and Health and Safety requirements are also essential.
  • Safety-critical technical delivery experience is mandatory, while experience in Telecommunications/IT technologies is desirable.
