Job Title: Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst at KBR, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Senior Business Architect with capturing the key views and needs of the enterprise. Your responsibilities will include:




  • Applying a structured business architecture approach and methodology to capture, define, optimise, lean, and deploy as workflows the Sellafield project management business processes.
  • Describing and capturing the Sellafield project management functions, capabilities, services, and processes to identify and describe systems and information that interact with the business.
  • Collecting, understanding, and documenting the functional and non-functional requirements for change initiatives and translating them into user stories.
  • Supporting the analysis of new product developments with other architects.
  • Working in close collaboration with stakeholders to gain approval and prioritisation for identified initiatives and change proposals.
  • Identifying and communicating the impact of planned initiatives on processes, resources, technology, and governance structures.
  • Modelling the as-is and to-be project management processes in an enterprise architecture toolset.
  • Analysing and interpreting data and information from several sources to support clients in decision making.
  • Supporting the development of information systems and technology architecture.


Key Responsibilities:




  • Applying a structured business architecture approach and methodology.
  • Describing and capturing the Sellafield project management functions.
  • Collecting, understanding, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Supporting the analysis of new product developments.
  • Working in close collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Identifying and communicating the impact of planned initiatives.
  • Modelling the as-is and to-be project management processes.
  • Analysing and interpreting data and information.
  • Supporting the development of information systems and technology architecture.


Requirements:




  • Good communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to understand business change needs and assess the business impact of those changes.
  • Experience in developing target operating models and identifying opportunities for development in current business models.
  • Familiarity with TOGAF and enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to apply TOGAF or another enterprise architecture framework to business solutions.
  • Experience working in fast-moving, agile, dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to define and resolve problems methodically and logically.


Qualifications:




  • Technical Honours Degree or equivalent.
  • Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
  • Desirable: IT/CIS Honours Degree or Equivalent, Certified Architect, or equivalent/seeking Certified Project Manager, or equivalent / Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.
