Baldwin Risk Partners is seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our Commercial Lines team.

Job Description:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service to our commercial clients, developing strong relationships with insurance companies, and maintaining accurate client files in our Agency Management System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain client files accurately and consistently, ensuring proper documentation and communication according to company workflows and procedures.
  • Compose professional business correspondence via letter, email, or other means.
  • Perform accounting/math-related functions, including invoicing, premium allocation, and other tasks as necessary.
  • Monitor claims according to agency procedures, communicate information to others in the agency, and maintain up-to-date claims information in the system.
  • Interact with others effectively by utilizing good communication skills, cooperating purposefully, providing information and guidance as needed to achieve company goals.
  • Attend client meetings with Advisors or Directors of Risk Management when requested.
  • Assist coworkers in responding to client inquiries or processing work when needed.
  • Manage day-to-day activities of client accounts, including policy review, changes, and updates, contract review for certificates processing, preparing renewal documents, marketing, and negotiating insurance programs.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate effective presentation skills through verbal and written communications.
  • Have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and the ability to learn other software programs as needed.
  • Exhibit behavior aligned with the corporate culture, demonstrating the firm's core values.
  • Obtain and maintain state insurance licenses as required, willing to obtain all required licenses within the first 90 days of employment if necessary.
  • Hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Commercial Account Manager role.
Salary Information:

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
