Job Title: Maintenance Engineer - Mechanical Bias

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CV Technical. As a key member of our production facility, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment, including automated distribution control systems, bucket elevators, conveyors, and packaging machinery.
  2. Conduct electrical and mechanical fault finding to identify and resolve issues.
  3. Work at heights and in confined spaces to access and maintain equipment.
  4. Collaborate with the production team to ensure minimal downtime and optimal production levels.
  5. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failure and reduce downtime.
Requirements:
  1. NVQ Level 3 or above in a relevant discipline.
  2. Apprentice-trained or time-served in a mechanical maintenance role.
  3. Experience working in a food or FMCG environment.
  4. Working at heights experience preferred.
