Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Triton Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. This is a Monday to Friday role working on the day shift.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
  3. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to understand complex systems and equipment.
  4. Supervise maintenance staff and contractors to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
  5. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards to protect employees and the environment.
  6. Maintain inventory of spare parts and equipment to minimize delays and optimize maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
  1. Proficiency in logic controllers and experience with welding, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  2. Strong leadership abilities to supervise maintenance teams and ensure effective communication.
  3. Excellent customer service skills to provide exceptional support to internal and external customers.
  4. Ability to maintain equipment effectively and efficiently to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
  5. Proficient in English for effective communication and collaboration.
  6. Interpretation of technical drawings and schematics to understand complex systems and equipment.
