About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Client Manager to join our team in Exeter. As a key member of our client services team, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, overseeing workflow, deadlines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and undertake assignments to deliver service excellence
  • Track progress, including WIP and billing targets
  • Lead a team of accountants, reviewing work, providing constructive mentorship, and motivating those around you
  • Own responsibility of KPIs, including monthly billing forecasts and ensuring fee recovery rates are met
  • Closely monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with all financial regulations
  • Contribute to the firm's growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients
  • Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships, proactively handling queries
  • Review processes and implement more efficient ways of service delivery
  • Set an example to junior staff as a hands-on senior manager

About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Client Manager with impressive experience managing a client portfolio within practice. You will have a proven track record of leading a team, reviewing work, and providing mentorship. You will also have a sound commercial understanding, including forecasting and monitoring fee recovery.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent reporting skills and the ability to oversee a team's workload effectively. You will be a team player with a can-do attitude to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering service excellence.
