Kenmore Hotel Management Accountant Opportunity

The Financial Analyst - Venue Performance role is an exciting opportunity for a talented Management Accountant to join the team at Kenmore Hotel.

Salary: AU$80,000 per annum + superannuation

This position involves working closely with the wider Finance team to achieve a timely and accurate month-end close. Key responsibilities include preparing balance sheet reconciliations, investigating material discrepancies and communicating analysis findings to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to achieve a smooth month-end close process.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis, identifying and resolving any material discrepancies.
  • Develop strong relationships with business stakeholders, including venue managers and department heads.
  • Analyse profit and loss statements, identifying favourable and unfavourable variances to budget.
  • Communicate analysis findings to stakeholders through regular reports and presentations.


Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in finance or accounting.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in a large or mid-tier accounting firm or a similar role in industry.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Experience in using accounting applications and ability to adapt to new systems.
