We are recruiting for a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join our Student Experience and Pastoral team at Derby College Group's Roundhouse campus.

The role involves providing support services to students in the classroom and beyond, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Job Description:

  1. Provide one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties and disabilities
  2. Assist teaching staff in delivering lessons and developing support strategies
  3. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
  4. Collaborate with other support staff to ensure seamless support delivery

Person Specification:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with students with special needs (desired)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations

Salary and Benefits:
