Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Outwood Grange Academies Trust. As a key member of our academic support team, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students across our academies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise whole classes to cover PPA of class teachers, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to assist in the planning cycle and management of classes, promoting academic excellence and student success.
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations.
  • Provide individualized support to students, addressing their academic and personal needs.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning community.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting the academic and personal growth of students.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.

Working Arrangements:

This is a 25-hour per week, Monday to Friday position, with expenses paid for travel between our academies. The role is initially temporary, but we offer a supportive and dynamic work environment that values employee growth and development.
