About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Merchandiser to join our team at boohooMAN. As a key member of our Merchandising team, you will be responsible for planning and trading your own department, driving sales, and assisting on other departments as needed.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Report and present in weekly and monthly trade meetings.
- Drive the test and repeat model to trade the essential product category.
- Own the essentials category within the Boohoo business and proactively manage the area from a sales, profitability, and stock perspective.
- Review daily and weekly sales performance and action rebuy and markdown where required.
- Review over and under performance at product group level and drive trading actions to maximise potential and minimise risk.
- Plan and manage a WSSI by accurately forecasting demand, OTB, returns, AVSP, and margin.
- Take ownership of the critical path management and take appropriate action on issues when they arise.
- Prepare trading reports/packs and make recommendations for reporting improvements across the function.
- Take a strategic approach to driving your department forward through strategy and framework plans.
- Work closely with Buying, QC, and Design and strengthen supplier relationships.
- Mentor and coach junior members of the team.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in merchandising and buying. You will have a proven track record of driving sales and managing product categories, as well as excellent communication and organisational skills.
