Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Creative Event Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing stunning floral and event designs that align with our brand's ethos. You will work closely with our team to understand client vision and transform it into breathtaking experiences that exceed their expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Design and Execution: Design, style, and execute events, including weddings, brand events, and private parties, to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, style preferences, and briefs, ensuring a deep understanding of their vision.
  • Concept Development: Create mood boards, sketches, renders, and detailed proposals to present design concepts to clients, showcasing your creativity and expertise.
  • Event Management: Manage all aspects of event design, from initial concept to on-site installation, including team and freelancer management, and de-rigging to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with current trends, new techniques, and emerging design innovations within the industry.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets with a given margin for all jobs and present figures to the Head of Events/COO.
  • Proposal Development: Develop client proposals in Canva and budget proposals in Excel, following up on outstanding actions until confirmation, and ensuring Pipedrive is up-to-date.
  • Nurturing Client Relationships: Nurture client relationships and new business leads, fostering strong connections and driving business growth.
  • Research and Sourcing: Research new and interesting design elements, including sourcing bespoke products, to stay ahead of the curve and deliver unique experiences.
  • Market Sourcing: Assist with spot buying flowers for events and stay current with seasonal availability, ensuring the highest quality products for our clients.


Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in event design is essential.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your creative event design work is required.
  • Skills: Exceptional eye for detail, passion for luxury floral design, excellent communication and client-facing skills, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in Pipedrive and design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required by event schedules, and a UK Driver's License (Manual) is necessary.
