Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Assistant to join our clients finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing comprehensive payroll processes, including calculations of PAYE, FPS, and EPS submissions.
Key Responsibilities- Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Calculate statutory payments, such as SMP, SPP, and SSP, and apply NIC for new joiners.
- Address and resolve queries related to tax code changes and National Insurance updates.
- Conduct thorough checks and balances within the payroll process.
- Prepare and submit pension data to various providers.
We are looking for a candidate with a robust background in payroll, preferably with 2-3 years of experience in a payroll bureau, commercial, or practice setting. Proficiency in payroll software, such as Sage, Iris, or Staffology, is highly desirable. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and team members.
