Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in the North West region. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a focus on CNC Machines, Press Machines, and Assembly.

About the Job:
  • Design and develop new products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Implement process improvements and optimize production workflows, resulting in increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage projects including new production equipment, process improvements, and cost reductions, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Enhance areas of the production environment using Lean manufacturing concepts, streamlining processes for increased efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Detailed understanding of Engineering within CNC Machines, Press Machines, and Assembly, with experience in developing and implementing process improvements.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • BSc or HNC in an engineering/technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems such as Epicor (desirable), with experience in data management and integration.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Flexible working hours, with a 39-hour week and opportunities for flexible start and finish times.
