Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer Assembly Specialist to join our team in the Burnley area. As an industry leader in aircraft engine innovation, we offer a unique opportunity to develop and implement efficient assembly processes for large aircraft nacelle structures.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  1. Developing and implementing efficient assembly processes for large aircraft nacelle structures.
  2. Collaborating closely with production and quality departments to define, implement, and maintain assembly processes.
  3. Ensuring the establishment of world-class, financially sustainable assembly processes.
  4. Managing assembly process risks related to HSE, capability, capacity, and finance.
  5. Implementing effective process planning to support manufacture across multiple assembly lines.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  1. A degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
  2. At least 5 years of industrial experience or 10 years without a degree education.
  3. Proficient in CAD software packages (CATIA v5 preferable).
  4. Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferable).
  5. Specific knowledge of aircraft nacelle components and structures.
  6. Background in tooling and fixtures (building and/or inspection).

Benefits

Estimated Salary Range
The estimated salary for this role is approximately £42,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience.
