Job Summary:

JGA Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Payroll to lead their large payroll function and drive future improvements.

About the Role:

  • Lead and oversee a team delivering payroll for over 10,000 employees.
  • Continuously review payroll and reward services to create a market-leading function.
  • Oversee key projects in collaboration with Senior Leadership.
  • Ensure full compliance with legislation and relevant agreements.
  • Review procedures to improve efficiency and promote continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve payroll processes and services.
  • Manage and motivate a team of payroll professionals to achieve high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar Shared Services environment.
  • Project management and implementation experience.
  • Team and stakeholder management.
  • High-volume payroll experience.
  • Strong character with ability to drive change.
