Nursing Leadership Opportunity

As a Senior Mental Health Nurse Leader at Elysium Healthcare, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing high-quality care and support to individuals in a mental health setting. This includes supporting your team and colleagues, promoting good teamwork, and leading the coordination of nursing care and clinical services.

You will be a key figure in ensuring the day-to-day operations of your unit are performing well, and will be responsible for delegating tasks to nurses, monitoring service users' conditions, and supervising team members. Your critical decisions will impact service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate nursing care and clinical services
  • Supervise team members and provide guidance and support
  • Delegate tasks to nurses and coordinate with other teams
  • Monitor service users' conditions and respond to changes
  • Make critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation

Requirements:

  • A relevant nursing qualification
  • NMC registration
  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of leadership skills
