Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Social Worker to join our Complex Care Team at Bexley Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of individuals, developing Reablement plans, and ensuring the provision of effective services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of individuals and develop Reablement plans
  • Ensure the provision of effective services, including case conferences and courts as required
  • Support the Service Manager in prioritizing the workload of the service and allocating tasks to social care workers
  • Supervise and appraise social care workers, promoting their professional development and consistent social work practice
  • Liaise with partner agencies to ensure the provision of effective services
Requirements
  • Post-qualified experience, including ASYE, with supervision experience
  • Mixed experience of different adult social care activities in different settings
  • Ability to work in a hybrid role, with 2-3 days per week based in Bexley (Civic Offices)
