Head of Building Safety

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Safety professional to join our team as Head of Building Safety. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a passion for building safety and resident wellbeing to make a significant impact on our housing portfolio.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our residents and the compliance of our buildings with the Building Safety Act 2022 and the Fire Safety Act 2021. This will involve developing and maintaining safety cases for higher-risk buildings, engaging with developers to remediate buildings, and ensuring that safety cases are comprehensive and up to date.

- Play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our residents and the compliance of our buildings
We are looking for a confident, competent, detail-focused individual with great interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and influencing skills, a great sense of humour, and be flexible, curious, and enthusiastic. A background in building safety management and experience in developing and maintaining safety cases for higher-risk buildings is essential.
