The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join our Power Assemblies Team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a brand-new position that will be focused on developing new business for Power Assemblies, as well as maintaining and supporting our current customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and clients to refine project and product specifications
  • Support sales efforts for large converters in renewable energy markets
  • Engage with Engineering Design teams to provide additional design support
  • Represent Dynex at exhibitions to gain marketing information and feedback
  • Liaise with Chinese colleagues to support sales efforts
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering
  • Commercially astute with experience in customer-facing roles
  • Knowledge and experience of the tender process
  • Practical engineering experience in design for power electronics converters
  • Understanding of renewable markets (e.g. Solar, BESS, Hydrogen, Wind)
