About the Role

As a Domestic Assistant at Excelcare Holdings, you will be part of a compassionate and welcoming team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our care homes are always maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety.

You will take pride in providing exceptional service to our residents, making a difference in their daily lives. Your dedication and hard work will be valued and recognized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas are cleaned to a high standard.
  • Manage and maintain all laundry, including cleaning, ironing, and storage.
  • Perform deep cleans as required, including floors, soft furnishings, fixtures, fittings, windows, and walls.
  • Dispose of waste and recyclables in a responsible manner.
  • Report any equipment failures or maintenance issues in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Comply with COSHH and Infection Control Regulations.
  • Engage with residents, promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect at all times.
Requirements
  • A kind and compassionate approach to all aspects of the role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a good sense of humor.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Previous experience in a cleaner or domestic role is desirable.
