Academic Achievement Specialist

We are seeking an individual who is passionate about making a difference in children's lives by achieving their academic goals. This role will require someone to work closely with students on a 1-1 basis, providing them with high-quality sessions to maximise their potential across the subject.
Key Responsibilities- Planning, creating and delivering engaging sessions to children who are currently working below expectations.
- Applying a variety of behavioural strategies to ensure the children are engaged.
- Having an awareness of the child's needs and interest, using this to create a child-centred approach to learning.
- Awareness of curriculum requirements and standards.
This role may involve working with children outside of a mainstream setting. The successful candidate will have:
Required Skills and Qualifications- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status, QTS).
- A strong subject knowledge of the curriculum.
- Experience of working with children/young people with SEND, SEMH and other additional needs.
- An Enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service, or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors (support for obtaining one can be provided).
- Professional references from your two most recent employers, totalling 24 months from a 10-year career history.
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
