About the Role

Roka is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry teams across our London-based restaurants. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency in our pastry offerings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the pastry sections in all London locations, managing and mentoring the pastry teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Collaborate with the Group Head of Pastry and location head chefs to align pastry offerings and standards, driving consistency across all restaurants.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor pastry teams in each location, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve pastry quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a head pastry chef or senior pastry sous chef, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Previous experience in Japanese cuisine is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Ability to travel and work flexibly, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
