Aircraft NDT Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft NDT Supervisor to join our team at Aeropeople Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of NDT Inspectors to provide an efficient and effective service to our internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of NDT Inspectors to ensure high-quality work is delivered on time and to budget.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Ensure all NDT related tasks are carried out safely and to the required Health & Safety standards.
- Completed a recognised aeronautical apprenticeship (Civil or military)
- Demonstrable experience in an aircraft maintenance or similar environment.
- Knowledge and experience of Eddy current, Ultrasonic, Dye Penetrant Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection and UT Phased Array.
- Multiple Non-Destructive Testing approvals.
- Familiarity of Boeing 737, BAe 146 and Embraer aircraft NDT techniques.
- Understanding of EASA/CAA, Health Safety & Environmental legislation and Employment Legislation would be desirable.
