The estimated annual salary for this role is between £35,000 - £45,000 based on industry standards and location.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team as an Emerging Talent Trainer.

You will be responsible for supporting the recruitment and training of new apprentices across Culina Group businesses, covering a nationwide network with significant travel across the UK.

Your key duties will include:

  • Maintaining and developing Apprenticeship systems, policies and procedures within Culina Group to support improvement plans and compliance with regulations regarding Levy Funding.
  • Liaising with Depots across the business to raise awareness of the Apprenticeship opportunities available to all colleagues.
  • Identifying Apprenticeship needs from Colleagues and other stakeholders across the business and suggesting appropriate Apprenticeship Standards.
  • Supporting the Group Emerging Talent Manager in the management of KPI's, systems and processes, and to report and act on quality performance issues and trends in line with the businesses priorities.
  • Managing Emerging Talent initiatives– including designing and attending assessment centres, recruitment and jobs fairs, public engagement events where the business requires, managing the programme and all associated admin.
  • Working in partnership with the Business, other Emerging Team members and Training providers to support the effective delivery of the Apprenticeship Standards.
  • Managing and maintaining strategic relationships with Training Providers who are supplying services related to Apprenticeships.
  • Attending Apprenticeship shows such as NAS/NCSL to spread awareness of the Group and Apprenticeship opportunities available.
  • Keeping and maintaining up to date and accurate records of all Emerging Talent initiatives training undertaken.
  • Engaging with members of the public to grow the business profile and teams wider network.
  • Working closely with industry professionals and associations to offer advice and support where necessary.
  • Creating relationships and working with underrepresented groups, charities and Corporate Social Enterprise companies to explore hidden talent pools.
  • Creating, running and managing emerging talent initiatives and campaigns for the mutual benefit of both internal and external stakeholders across the businesses network.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office applications.
  • Strong verbal reasoning skills and the ability to communicate across a wide variety of audiences.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in order to deliver accurate information to trainees.
  • Excellent attention to detail including accurate data analysis.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder projects, meeting stringent deadlines.
  • Experience in transport and warehouse environments is desirable.
  • A flexible, robust approach with the ability to adapt to changing environments is essential.
  • Knowledge of work based learning programmes, including Apprenticeships and the Digital Account System are essential.
  • Able to manage effectively and communicate at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel is essential.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential for the role.
